General terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions are concluded between srl VODELIS, hereinafter « Dinant Cabanes » or « le Moulin de Lisogne », on the one hand, and the beneficiary of the service, hereinafter « the guest », on the other. The guest and the provider are jointly referred to as « the parties ».
Any booking implies that the guest has read and fully accepts these general terms and conditions. Unless special conditions are given in writing by an authorised member of staff, they govern all services provided and apply to every guest, insofar as no special conditions derogate from them.
Booking
- A request sent via the website is non-binding: the booking only becomes effective once we have confirmed it.
- A booking entails full payment for the services ordered: in case of no-show, we reserve the right to charge the agreed price of the stay.
- In the event of a double booking (which we do our utmost to avoid), we will offer you an alternative (another cabin, another date).
- Any extension of the number of nights is considered a new booking and requires a new request. We cannot guarantee the availability of the dates or cabins requested.
- We may ask the guest to present identity documents for verification purposes.
Prices and tourist tax
Prices are shown on the cabin pages and with every booking request. They include 12% VAT. The tourist tax (€2.50 per person over 12 per night) is charged on top and paid over to the City of Dinant. The price shown with a request is an estimate, confirmed in our reply.
Payment
Final payment (of any outstanding balance, taking into account a deposit or payment already made) must be made at the latest on check-out.
Cancellation
Any cancellation must be notified to us in writing (e-mail to info@dinant-cabanes.be). The following amounts remain due, calculated on the total price of the stay:
- cancellation more than 14 days before the arrival date: free of charge;
- cancellation between 14 and 7 days before the arrival date: 50 % of the price of the stay;
- cancellation less than 7 days before the arrival date, or no-show: 100 % of the price of the stay.
Early departure does not entitle the guest to any refund. Should we ourselves cancel a stay, all sums paid would be refunded in full.
Withdrawal
In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the guest has no right of withdrawal for these accommodation services.
Liability
We are not liable for theft of or damage to guests’ belongings during their stay, nor for force majeure (storms, extreme frost, floods, lightning strikes, etc.).
In rain, snow or frost the ground may be slippery: please take particular care on stairs, footbridges and outdoor wooden or stone floors. We cannot be held liable for a slip that is not due to a fault on our part.
The guest is liable, both for themselves and for the persons in their care, for any damage caused to persons, property, equipment and facilities of the estate and to areas open to the public.
House rules
- Smoking is prohibited inside the cabins and in all areas of the estate open to the public (Belgian law of 22 December 2009). In case of breach, a cleaning fee of €250 excl. VAT will be charged; a higher amount may be claimed for greater damage (in particular if the cabin cannot be let).
- The guest undertakes to behave responsibly and to comply with the house rules. Any serious or repeated breach will be considered gross misconduct and entitles us to end the stay without notice, without prejudice to the amounts due.
- Guests are strictly prohibited from registering their domicile at the address of the estate or of the registered office of srl VODELIS.
Complaints and reviews
Any complaint must be made immediately to a manager on site: we will look into it and find a solution together. Complaints made after the stay cannot be taken into account. Don’t hesitate to talk to us about the slightest problem!
Comments on public websites are welcome, provided they do not unduly harm our reputation. Defamation and fake reviews intended to damage our online reputation are punishable by law.
Severability, governing law and disputes
The invalidity of any provision of these terms shall not affect the validity of the other provisions. These terms and the contractual relations arising from them are governed exclusively by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of Dinant shall have jurisdiction.
Intellectual property
The content of this website (design, images, photos, texts and resources) is the property of srl VODELIS, unless otherwise stated. Any reuse, including by hyperlink, requires prior request via the Contact page.
Privacy policy (GDPR)
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR):
- Data collected: when you use our forms (booking request or contact), we receive by e-mail the information you enter: name, e-mail, phone, dates, group composition and message. This data is not stored in any database on the website.
- Purpose: solely to process your request and organise your stay. It is never used for advertising, sold or passed on.
- Retention: the information provided (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.) is destroyed within six months after the agreed services have been provided.
- Technical processors: the website host; Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms against bots; Google Maps, for the map on the Contact page.
- Cookies: this website uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
- Your rights: you may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to info@dinant-cabanes.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
srl VODELIS cannot be held liable for any incident it did not itself cause, in particular in the event of hacking or a failure by a processor.
Image rights
Anyone appearing in a photo on this website may request its removal in writing (letter or e-mail), specifying the photo concerned. After examining the legal validity of the request, srl VODELIS will decide on the removal of the photo.
